The Health Nut

My Goal: to live as healthy a life as possible. Here are things that inspire me to do just that; to remember that I'm in this for the long haul, not just for some special occasion, and that being healthy is a journey and not a destination. A marathon and not a sprint. But enough metaphors. I want to eat great food that nourishes my body and spirit and find the joy that getting up out of bed can bring.
Avocadoes! So delicious and a good source of monounsaturated fat (the good kind), potassium, Vitamins E, K and B, and fiber.  Plus they help lower cholesterol really quickly, and are the most unique fruit that I know. :)Avocadoes!
